Advance Your Career with Continuing Education in Eastern NC
As the healthcare industry changes its practices, technologies and standards, it is important for healthcare professionals to have a way to stay up to date. Eastern AHEC is here to offer advanced resources for the healthcare community in eastern North Carolina. We help professionals in allied health, dentistry, medicine, mental health, nursing, pharmacy and public health advance their careers and stay on top of their fields. One of the many ways we do this is through continuing education and professional development in Greenville and all across eastern North Carolina. Many of our programs are multidisciplinary and/or interprofessional in nature.
Whether you’re looking to maintain licensure or specialty certifications for AMA, NBCC, CNE, ACPE, LCSW, LPC, LCAS, LPCS and others, we offer a number of courses and events that can fulfill your requirement.
If you have questions about an upcoming event, please contact the individual department listed in the brochure or save-the-date, or call our main office in Greenville at 252.744.5221. Unless otherwise noted, most events are held at our building in Greenville at 2600 W. Arlington Blvd., at the corner of Arlington and W. 5th St. near the East Carolina University Health Sciences campus. Some events are planned from our Elizabeth City Office, which can be reached at 252.335.4399. For more ways to reach us, please see Contact Us.
Note that some events are added to the calendar with a save-the-date before registration is available. Please check back later before calling about the brochure or registration. To be notified by email when the full brochure is posted and registration opens, be sure your contact information is current via MyAHEC.
Registration is now online only and a MyAHEC account is required. Payment is due upon registration. The system will automatically email you a registration confirmation that can be used as a receipt for reimbursement. To have your employer pre-pay, please have them contact us first before you register, so we can set up a voucher code. Read more in our FAQs. Please note registration closes the day before the program.
