Pharmacy Student Education

Eastern AHEC coordinates pharmacy student education for UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy PharmD candidates who are assigned to our region for their fourth year of school.  Eastern AHEC identifies and supports preceptors in the region to provide clinical rotations. You will have the opportunity to practice in community pharmacies, health systems, outpatient primary care settings and within inpatient clinical and specialty teams. Students are oriented to the region by, and work with our Eastern AHEC regional pharmacy director to map out and complete a strong educational experience.  UNC Eshelman student seminars are hosted by Eastern AHEC so that students assigned to our region can gather with one another during their time in the east.
